Why CX 6000 Switch?

The new CX switch models replace some of the older Aruba switches that run EOL, the relative 2530 and 2540 switches. These are replaced by 6000 and 6100 switches.

The larger models are based on the same functionality as the 2930 and 3810 switches. The biggest difference is that they run with the new CX control system. The only model that is modular in the 6xxx series is the 6400 Switch. This is a bit like the 5400 series HPE switches, but the modules fill the entire length of the switch and the 6400 switch is designed to function as a data center / core switch.

A new operating system

As previously mentioned, one of the biggest differences between the Aruba CX switches is that they run with a new operating system, which is quite different from the old AOS operating system. The CX control system emphasizes modularity, full programmability, elasticity, and scalability, and the CX system is built on the "Resiliency by Design" principle.

Modularity in OS means that in AOS CX there are independent processes and applications that actively synchronize with an in-memory database because of a modular operating system.

Marty, are you alright? Oh, you make it sound so easy. I just, I wish I wasn't so scared. Now Biff, don't con me. There's that word again, heavy. Why are things so heavy in the future. Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull? Nothing, nothing, nothing, look tell her destiny has brought you together, tell her that she's the most beautiful you have ever seen. Girls like that stuff. What, what are you doing George?

I followed you. His head's gone, it's like it's been erased. I don't know, but I'm gonna find out. Hey, McFly, I thought I told you never to come in here. Well it's gonna cost you. How much money you got on you? No.
